I’m back from Ireland, and my brief stop in England–I was back last night, but absolutely shattered…and I still am.
I did not get to see this Antinous (in a Dionysian aspect) and the Hadrian which accompanies him yesterday, unfortunately.
I did get to see Cú Chulainn on Monday, however.
But the title of my post refers to Attis and His death, as marked today in our Calendar, and that of the Romans. It is also the eve of Holi for Hindus, which involves one of my favorite avatars, Narasimha…
Speaking of several of the above: while I was gone and otherwise occupied, Heathen Chinese wrote about the Easter Rising’s 100th anniversary in Ireland this year at The Wild Hunt, which featured interviews with myself and Morpheus Ravenna. I’ll have more to say on much of the above in the days to come. But for now, I just wanted to let everyone know I am still alive, am back, and am in no immediate danger of health or anything, though I am in a great deal of pain from my exertions on the 21st and 22nd…far more than I expected to be. All shall be revealed in time.
